Country guides
Sworn translation by where your documents come from
Every country issues its documents differently and apostilles them at a different office. Pick yours and we will tell you what to request, in what order, and what the Spanish authorities expect.
If you live in or are moving to Spain
Filipinos in Spain
The Philippines issues its official documents in English, which is our pair. And there is one feature worth knowing: the residence period for Spanish nationality is two years, not ten.
Australians in Spain
Australia issues its documents in English, so the translation is the easy part. What causes trouble is a formatting detail: ordering the police check digitally when what you need is the paper copy.
Indian nationals in Spain
India issues most of its official documents in English, which is exactly our pair. What usually holds a file up is not the translation: it is the step that comes before the apostille from India's Ministry of External Affairs.
Irish nationals in Spain
Ireland is an EU member state, and that changes the rules. Before you order anything, it is worth knowing which documents are exempt from the apostille and from translation: you may be able to skip the whole thing.
Canadian nationals in Spain
Canada issues its documents in English and, in Quebec, in French. We cover both languages with MAEC-accredited translators, so a Canadian file does not have to be split between two providers.
British nationals in Spain
Since Brexit, your UK paperwork needs a sworn Spanish translation for residency, property, healthcare or inheritance. That part is on us.
US nationals in Spain
Moving to Spain from the US? The Spanish administration will want your documents in Spanish, as a sworn translation. Apostille them stateside, let us translate them, and file a complete application.
French nationals in Spain
Birth certificate, casier judiciaire B3, diploma or driving licence: we sworn-translate your French documents into Spanish so the authorities accept them, and we point you in the right direction on the apostille.
Apostille by country of origin
Apostille · United States
If you're coming from the US, your documents need an apostille and then a Spanish sworn translation to be valid in Spain. We handle the sworn translation and point you to where each document gets apostilled.
Apostille · United Kingdom
Once the FCDO has apostilled your UK document, we take care of the sworn translation into Spanish that Spanish authorities accept.
Apostille · France
We explain how to apostille your French document and we handle the sworn translation into Spanish, ready to submit to the authorities in Spain.
