1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the user's browser or device when accessing a webpage. They make it possible to recognise the user on subsequent visits, remember their preferences, analyse how the site is used and, in some cases, deliver personalised advertising.

This policy describes the cookies used by the website https://textualia.com (hereinafter, "the website"), owned by Eva Moreno Ortiz (Spanish Tax ID ES52771554D), in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), as amended by Royal Decree-Law 13/2012, and with applicable European law (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

The processing of personal data resulting from cookie use is further governed by our Privacy Policy.

2. Types of cookies used

2.1. Strictly necessary cookies (exempt from consent)

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function correctly. They allow the user to browse the site, use the quote tool, make payments, keep the session open and perform other essential functions. Without these cookies, the site would not work properly.

These cookies do not require prior user consent under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.

2.2. Analytics cookies (consent required)

We use Google Analytics 4 (a service provided by Google Ireland Limited) to collect statistical, anonymised information on website usage: pages visited, time on site, traffic source, device used, etc. This information allows us to improve the service and optimise the content.

The data collected is processed in aggregate and does not individually identify the user. Data retention follows the standard Google Analytics configuration (14 months for event and user data by default, subject to change by Google).

2.3. Advertising and marketing cookies (consent required)

We use Google Ads (a service provided by Google Ireland Limited) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and, where appropriate, to display relevant ads to users who have previously visited the website. These cookies may share information with Google under the safeguards applicable to the European Economic Area.

The site implements Google Consent Mode v2: if the user rejects these cookies, Google Ads still receives modelled signals with no personal identifiers, allowing us to measure conversions in a GDPR-compliant way.

The website may include additional social media or marketing platform cookies in the future. In that case, this policy will be updated accordingly and the user's consent will be requested beforehand.

3. Managing consent

When the user accesses the website for the first time, a cookie configuration banner is displayed allowing the user to:

  • Accept all cookies.
  • Reject all cookies except those strictly necessary, which remain active in any case.
  • Customise the selection by enabling or disabling each category individually (analytics, advertising, functionality).

The consent given by the user is valid for a maximum of 24 months. After that period, consent will be requested again.

The user may modify or withdraw their consent at any time by accessing the cookie settings panel, which is permanently available on the website via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

To manage consent we use Cookie Script (CookieScript Ltd., Google-certified Gold partner). The user's consent is securely stored in their own browser and can be reviewed or modified at any time from the configuration panel available in the footer.

4. How to disable or delete cookies

In addition to the site's own configuration panel, the user can manage cookies from their browser settings. Each browser offers its own instructions:

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the correct functioning of the website, particularly the use of the quote tool and the completion of the order process.

5. International data transfers

Some of the cookie providers used (Google) may transfer data to the United States. These transfers are carried out with the safeguards required by the GDPR, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Cookie summary table

This cookie policy may be amended to adapt to regulatory, technological or website configuration changes. Any modification will be communicated through the website, expressly indicating the date of the latest update at the beginning of the document.
